Uploading Contributions
A quick and easy guide to contributing to the Yencil community
Yencil strives to be a marketplace with a variety of helpful documents for users to rate, compare, and download. We consider any document uploaded to Yencil to be a "contribution" to this overall mission. We currently focus on a subset of digital document types including xls, doc, ppt, csv, and pdf files. Contributions are limited to a max of 50MB per file. Follow the steps below to make your first contribution:
1. Log in to your Yencil account.
* If you haven't already, create a free account
2. Visit the contribute page
3. Drag and drop your contribution into the form or select a file from your computer.
* Files must be under 50MB and be one of the following types: xls, doc, ppt, or pdf
4. Select a name, category, and description for your contribution
5. Notice the "Auto Publish" option is true by default. If you don't want your contribution to immediately be available for free download once it's uploaded, uncheck this option.
6. Select the "Submit" button to upload your contribution!
* Contribution uploads can take several minutes depending on the size. If you unchecked the "Auto Publish" option, please remember to publish when you're ready for users to be able to download or purchase
